A brand new European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is available to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the North East, through a new programme delivered by the Investment Centre.

Investment for Growth provides grants to SMEs investing in business development projects.

Investment for Growth can help your customers by providing eligible businesses with:

A direct route to financial assistance to help them improve and grow their business.
Investment for projects which will result in the safeguarding or creating of jobs.
Access to an experienced business adviser, to support and guide them through the whole process

Are your customers:

SMEs (as defined by the European Union) operating out of the North East of England?
Have less than 250 employees?
Provide a business to business product or service?
Are not 25% owned by a non SME?

If yes, they may be eligible for support. The type of projects that could be eligible are:

Environmental/efficiency programmes
Improved ergonomics
Marketing planning & delivery
